WAS NOT GOOD FOR ME. THE PRODUCT DOES NOT OFFER ENOUGH PADDING. THE CASE DOES LOOK NICE THOUGH AND I LIKE THE EXTRA POCKET AND STRAP HANDLE. IF IT IS PADDING YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, IT IS NOT THE BEST

I own a recently purchased Toshiba NB305-N410 and took it along on business trip several weeks later. The case is sturdy neoprene and fit my netbook perfectly. Even better, the sleeve was “legal” for TSA screening, without removing the netbook from the case—as long as you remove any equipment from the side pocket, which could obstruct the screeners’ view. Rather than using a “butterfly” briefcase, I find it easier to pull the sleeve out from my carry-on bag (sometimes a 22″ roll-aboard, sometimes a rolling book pack, sometimes a computer briefcase) and simply lay it in the tray.
The case has two handles for ease of carriage. The side pocket is roomy enough for a travel mouse and the charging cord/brick. However, as another reviewer mentioned, the pocket will not accommodate a portable CD drive. However, such a drive can be stowed elsewhere in one’s carry-on bag and need not be removed for screening, unlike a computer. It’s really not a big issue for airport use, because you have to remove everything from the pocket if you want to leave the netbook in the sleeve. Because this case has handles and becomes in a sense a “mini briefcase”, a person toting this case to a meeting who needed a CD drive would have to find another place to carry the CD drive. Minor issue, really, unless you use it frequently to watch DVD movies.

….if you want to do more than carry the computer (in my case the Acer Aspire 1410T–11.6″) and a mouse, it’s too tight. The power cord pushes it over the edge. This one, the Caselogic LNEO-12 12.1-Inch Neoprene Netbook Sleeve (Black), has a somewhat more generous exterior pocket as well as more comfortable handles, while also hugging the computer itself.
By the way, there is an inconsistency in the images for this item. Mine came with two carrying handles; some of the images on this page show that, while others show a simple sleeve without handles.

This is a quality sleeve that fits the ultralight 11.6 and 12″ laptops. Very well made, good enough protection to use when carrying it in a bag that is not padded enough for a laptop. You can use it to carry around in the office, but it is not intended to be a full protection bag. Outside storage is a little tight, but works fine for a mini-mouse or charging block and cord.

I purchased the sleeve for a Gateway/ACER 11.6″ laptop. The space provided is just enough to fit snugly around the notebook. There is an internal flap that provides extra cushion for the zipper area. The external pocket is just enough space to carry a mouse or power supply. It may be a little small for both (you can stuff them in – but tight). The handle is great for carrying to a hotel hotspot or for pulling the sleeve out of an external bag. I use a Baggallini messenger bag for over the shoulder carrying.
Overall the sleeve provides good cushion for the laptop, has a smooth inner surface so no scratching or rubbing, stretches nicely for that snug fit – Perfect size for 11.6 laptops.
